have infos about the image stabilization of both producers and obtained the following output:
According to two manufacturers will switch the Image Stabilization function visible only when .....
1. ..... To use the memory card recording mode.
2. ..... You use the Farbnachtsichtfunktion.
So should work for both camcorders, the Image Stabilization in 4:3 as synonymous in the 16:9 mode. Can anyone of you confirm?

Image stabilization, the Panasonic is not my opinion, in 16:9 mode.
