Why did most (synonymous to expensive) video tripod so a small amount of work? The higher, the more wacklinger is the thing. With sufficient length can be even a railway track of hand "bend" :-)

tape is still the best recording medium always has a fresh medium, with no MiniDV 2 ¬ / 13 GB, long shelf life and bottom line safer. We use virtually no tape on several occasions.
Sure dubbing takes much longer, what with time-critical applications, of course, could be a problem. Since we have the completely wurst is, we remain at the tape as long as it goes.
