Infoseite // Panasonic GS27-EG & Firewire??

Frage von ray:

good morning ..........
'm New here and hoping for some help of the gurus ;-)

I am now since a few days, the owner of a Panasonic GS27-EG and on the whole satisfied with the device.
Unfortunately, I'll make it but not the camera via FireWire join s.meinen PC.
I have this forum now has a couple of times read up and down ............. synonymous in the category "Hardware" --->>> FAQ --->>>" if Firewire does not work "I have by ............

I've always found the statement that the cause of the problem, the overwritten files from SP2 and Avc.sys MSDV.SYS. should be.

Since I am but a Windows XP-Prof. with integrated Service Pack 2 did, I can not find these files on my calculator, hmm?

Also, all patches to the most widespread problem I have not helped.

I have the WindowsXP-KB885222-v2-x86-ENU.exe patch installed, which was recommended to me of the Panasonic hotline installed.

I have also tried synonymous q329256_WXP_SP2_x86_ENU.exe install the patch, but this one reads only the files that the actual patch is installed but not obvious, huh?
(there is no progress bar to see)

On my board there is a built-in FireWire chip of VIA 6307, Windows detected it without problems and integrated in the device manager.
I have all the tips that have followed the situation here, I just run the camera with power supply, I disabled my firewall and had already tasted synonymous in Device Manager 1394 Netzwerkadapeter off.

The Firewire cable is of Hama and quality should be fine (I hope)

I do not really next, what shall I do now to??
Camera back to buy another FireWire card and plug into the calculator?

I'm desperate, yesterday evening I went totally exasperated with the issue to bed and woke up this morning, so again .......

I'm grateful for any kind of help ............... ;-)

Update ...........

Meanwhile, I've found that most of the Windows operating the camera was recognized.

If I start with the calculator turned on camera I do not see this in Device Manager!
But it seems synonymous with network cards no Firewire Network .............

Turn on the camera, but I come from ->> Note this typical noise (if you z.Bsp. A USB stick removed) of Windows.

In Device Manager, then suddenly reappeared the Firewire adapter.
All very strange

I Turn the camera on again nothing happens.

Please help me ....................

Hello Ray
bad case ....
With SP2, you have hardly a chance ....
this is already a mess, which has held since M $.
Since you have even a version with integrated SP2, synonymous, I see little chance for you.

Only for testing of the whole. Do you know someone who has one calculator without SP2. Maybe you can, the Cam and the card then try again?
