After I am after intensive research and practical functionality test for the NV-GS-80 decision, I am now after the first recording quite disappointed.
But let's start positive:
Comparison of pre favorite is the Canon MD150 Pana significantly better in the hand and fingers relaxed can operate the zoom. One of my main reasons for my 6 years old up Canon Video 8 was that the Pana in true 16:9 can absorb, not just black bars on a 4:3 picture fades. Did this problem all the modern digicams or is this price category-specific. I suspect that the problem is rather the price bracket. None of my camcorder shows such an image stabilization behavior. From my bitch Capture (SonyHC35) aside, I mentioned in the recording discipline had not yet experienced. ;-)
