I had similar problems with my NV-DS65.
Unfortunately, the recording is synonymous not possible. The tape is apparently not transported.
Do you have now found a remedy?
An info would be nice.

If not, you probably should have a capital drive damage. Or do you have condensation in the camera, and blocks the security function. But that would have some time to acclimatize themselves to return to normal.
