Infoseite // Panasonic NV-GS80 - "EC" or EC-S

Frage von Joachim G.:

Hello dear slash-CAM users!

After reading a long thread in several forums, I was ready for a Panasonic NV-GS80 decided. Order, I would like it on the Internet.

About price search, I now find cheap deals
(W * w.idealo.de/preisvergleich/OffersOfProduct/645762_-nv-gs80-panasonic.html), but always appear terms such as "EC" or EC-S "on the 80 behind. Sometimes synonymous nothing behind them, only Panasonic NV-GS80.

Unfortunately, I do not know what these terms mean, and how these models differ among themselves.

Therefore I hope for your help. Perhaps one knows of you about it ...?

Hello. I only know that EC is a model for the German market with German manual and German menu, as my GS320 EC. The something without my knowledge, are gray and therefore always cheaper on the Internet have. But I do not know how the Panasonic deals with the guarantee I would not buy without EC.

EC -> for the German market, there is sometimes in the stores so-called "EU version", ie you get depending on the availability of any other model, for the sale in other European countries. Rumored to be in such cases, the settlement in the case of warranty problem, and I specifically in the case of Panasonic synonymous've already read, that would be no problem.

S -> Color silver

Without labeling, there's not, which is sometimes no more than lack of diligence is not quite complete hingeschrieben or it could indicate that it is a "foreign device" is. In such a case s.besten specifically ask again.

WOW! That went so fast with the answers.
Thank you very much "the hen" and "Markus73" for your helpful comments.

Be me, then an EC device to buy.

I have just quickly again in the forum and read around, man is intended to provide a filter on the camcorder to make it as protection against dust and grease. The easiest are probably UV filter, because they can always leave it. But what kind of filter diameter because I need for a GS80?

And Also, what other accessories for the GS80 is still available, except ...?

Bag
Replacement battery
Filter
Firewire cable
Screen-film

If the information on the manufacturer's Web site are correct, then the GS80 has a filter diameter of 37 mm. So, the UV filter also a diameter of 37 mm.

"Joachim G." wrote: And Also, what other accessories for the GS80 is still available ...?
The question you need to make the other way around: What accessories do you need? - A tripod, for example, I would absolutely, just MiniDV cassettes. The latter were certainly too banal, to include extra. ;-)

I have a GS320. When did I use two accessories CGA-DU21 replicas 8 ¬ for the piece from ebay. Since holds an approximate 2-3h, and which can be supplied with the Prima Charger recharge. The Batteries are synonymous for the GS80. The filter diameter is 37mm of GS80, which had you but even synonymous of the Panasonic home page can be found. Furthermore, I have a HD5050 Raynox Wideangle intent, the synonymous highly recommended, although I did not know whether the GS80 as "weitwinkel weak" as my GS320 is. Then I wrote a tripod Cullmann shoulder, the synonymous is highly recommended for quieter recordings to make, and as synonymous during the walks to go to some quiet to get shots. In the tapes, I can look at the Panasonic AY-DVM63PQ tapes recommend that you find these fairly cheap at www.dvtape.de Sony Premium DV that one gets s.jeder corner, This lubricate the video head and harmony in general rather poorly with Panasonic camcorders. Would synonymous shame if your device after a 3 / 4 school report for the first time to repair them.

Antwort von Joachim G.:

Thanks again for your answers.

The problem with the tapes Sonydv-synonymous, I have only a few hours here in the forum to read. These tapes, I will therefore avoid them. The Panasonic AY-DVM63PQ, I will arrange a couple of times. How often can these tapes actually filmed, without a real loss of quality?

A UV filter, I will still be synonymous growth. They are quite pricey and seem synonymous Lens the well to protect.

A tripod, I will not consider me as a trainee since then must save again ;-).

What do you think really of pockets? Are there any recommendations or should be synonymous with original bags you use?

PS: Since the last post "the hen" zugeschmierten of a video head and a subsequent repair of speech was times I wanted to know roughly what a repair of the video head would cost ...?

Naja relating to on film, I can tell you nothing, because I just do not give me my memories are important. But a couple of times, keep it loose from the tape, as long as you are not 50 times on the same tape recording.

The Lowepro bags are pretty good.

A repair would have been in the GS280 for a half to three quarters of year is not worth more, the only new costs 210 ¬ and MiniDV is out anyway, so you value NEN stark decline since then and if a technician in a workshop, plus one hours rumhantiert the material, then you are quickly on new value. Treated with care the easy part and it will not let them down. Have already been a lot of Panasonic devices, which are building very good stuff (And I do not work at Panasonic!) And then wennn you with the training is finished, you can then know how you learned the benefit and you ne HD Cam buy I do after studying the same. But for the beginning of MiniDV is very well suited.

Bags are a great invention, especially if you have more than one part at a time with you. ;-)

A specific mark, I would not recommend. Eighth rather that the target video bag makes a solid impression (something normally keeps forever) and that everything fits into what you need with you (camera, batteries, cassettes ,...).

Hi Leute ich bins nochmal ... ;-)

I'm just the Warsteiner durchgeflogen shop and am pushed to this tripod.

Here's the link:
w * w.warsteiner-fotoversand.de/product_info.php? products_id = 941 & osCsid = 0d5e39bf8ff7cb6ab10613af6b2457fc

This 3-leg Tripod is designed for only 20 ¬ to get a Beginners and certainly to use it? (and also, I could then save on shipping if I GS80 where in the shop mitbestelle)

Or are there other Tripods (preferably 3-leg tripod) to such a low price?

PS: Since I never have found info about what kind of connection, the camcorder had been, I'm not sure if it fits on the tripod (1 / 4''threaded )...?

For video purposes Tripod s.besten forget this very quickly. It has no head (ie no damping for smooth pans) and at this price probably is not synonymous with the necessary stability.

Hello, I am again ^ ^

@ Mark, Yes, I think you're right with your assessment about the ¬ 20-Warsteiner-Tripod.

I am currently in Stuttgart (vocational school) and it just brings in the big Saturn and Media Markt pure, so it is with me in the near non-existent. Was today schonmal look and taste test, just as what was on offer.

The Hama Gamma 76 times I just have to be tested, but I am not sure if it is not but that was 79 gamma.
The Velbon-Tripods I did not discover (but not synonymous then sought ...), but they are here in the forum desöfteren recommended.

Accordingly, I have just this moment Choice.

Hama Gamma 76 ~ ¬ 25 including shipping

Velbon CX-686 ~ 55 ¬ including shipping
ht * p: / / www.foto-erhardt.de/velbon-stativ-cx686-p-2782.html?ref=idealo

More Velbon Tripods at Still Image Erhardt

Maybe someone has one of the Tripods and can do something to report ...

PS: Will tomorrow after school again Tripod tour and this time go a little detail on the device names look :-).

No, because you confuse (like many other people again and again) Guarantee and warranty. Panasonic offers 2-year warranty, in principle, and without proof.

So this means ....

The video head of my Panasonic camcorder is very dirty, then I send the camcorder in Panasonic, which purify it and send me the camera back again. All this is for me for free (except possibly Vesandgebühren)?

No, why should it? The pollution is no damage, but belongs to the normal operation.

A dirty car is the Manufacturer you are not synonymous as a guarantee to wash at his expense.

Thus, I can now synonymous nor Batteries order.
