at first:'m diligent reader of this forum and have geguckt been synonymous, but nothing matching (except EK-S) found, that is why I am asking:
do you know if the nv gs180EP s identical or equal equipment / functions the same as the EC-s?
panasonic I could only say that ep for the Eastern European market is no more. Warsteiner had ordered the ep instead delivered as advertised, the eg.
exchange? retain?

My question to you, unfortunately I can not answer.
The most important things to watch will be tested, but is in addition to the equipment synonymous to whether you need in case warranty service on Panasonic Germany can get.

the point I had not really care, thank you markus. I got my GS180 EG-S incidentally synonymous of Warsteiner and precisely because there is explicitly the "EG-S" was advertised, not only as usual "GS180. Interesting that the other models but synonymous send.
Now, I hope that someone here is relating more to say ... Otherwise, again perhaps inquire directly with Panasonic?

have just the panasonic ServiceCenter stuttgart called. according to which there is no problem as long as proof of purchase and warranty leaflet enclosed and the thing was bought in germany. is not synonymous in the east sent, according to the Swabian information. ;-)

one sees that the GS180 EP-S at least in the Czech Republic is the official version. A first look at the details (in my non-existent Czech) shows me no difference to my German version.

Purchase you as soon as possible, a spare battery, which is somewhat poorly supplied.

s.meinem camcorder-purchased at Topvision in Luxembourg (shipped from Trier), who allegedly EU-sell product under the name NV Battery-GS180EG (without addition), on the barcode label of the box, however, very well "NV -GS180-S
