I have the GS230 s.USB2.0 connected. If recognized, all super, there is even a removable disk icon in My Computer (which is probably SDKarte, not much is). As always synonymous, with the enclosed software (Sweet Movie Live) states that it was not connected and do not recognize synonymous Vegas. Has one of the plan, what's wrong?

And it should be? I do not know. Theoretically, it should be synonymous with USB, what is nothing to change that Firewire is the standard method and a vendor-specific USB Gebastle or Gemurkse, sometimes or just does not synonymous.

So only if you record onto the memory card or the camera as a webcam to use. But, it works! The GS230 is one of the few camcorders, the DV material synonymous via USB full quality can be transmitted. So better not just other people stupidity of conduct.

Anyway, I've now ne firewire interface with USB2.0 increased. ¬ 30 with a bunch of cables in the process was good and now.

I know not with what you aufnimmst, I use 8cm discs and put it into my DVD drive -> Vegas Movie Studio -> Project "Importing from DVD disc." I have always the perfect original quality and faster than all the stuff to transfer via firewire (; had more running in between my Canopus), it is with me in any case always.
