Infoseite // Panther Head Light Light Angle

Frage von bdmxr:

Hello together
looking for my xl2 (Weitwinkelobjetiv mode + 16.9) a head light, no "circle of light" created in the Picture.
Here is a panther Romy 75.100 Watt?
Or it is better to build an emperor 8s at 12 volts?

Thank you first for your answers.

Antwort von Markus:

Hello,

Panther Romy 75 is focusable, but the experience did not have any so I can collect. The overhead lighting has been ordered and is expected in about a week.

Until then, you could head your existing lighting with a fleece, so preventing the cone of light becomes softer.

I am eager to be used in which the radius of action Panther head light, but do not expect miracles secure. A head light I see only as Behelfsbeleuchtung, when classical lighting with multiple lights is not practical (eg ENG) area.

Or you turn right time s.den Manufacturer: www.panther.tv (click on the head light, then contact usder appear for it).

Thank you in advance,
As stated before, the whole area (WW +16:9) was an imperial 8s course abdecken.Hat 300 watts I could convert to 12 volts.
Have a Haehnel zoomlight tried, which of course has a circle of light
in the picture clearly depicts.
Writing times your experience with the Panther

Antwort von Markus:

Hello Bernard,

If you already have 8s, the emperor would be a simple and inexpensive modification certainly feasible. You replace the connecting cable (Male) and the burner bypass the transformer and even the new head light is ready for his first 12V-use. ;-)

About Panther Romy, I will report as soon as it is here. Standard here is indeed synonymous, a diffuser, which is certainly useful for wide-angle shots.

Hi Mark,
Diffuser sounds good.
8s emperor has no transformer (220 volts), but no problem, she is just too big.
I am looking for a smaller solution with the Geich qualities (light cone)
If there were there?

Okay, now is the new head light a bit (!) Longer in use. ;-)

The diffuser is permanently installed and acts as a protective screen in front of the bulb. The light itself is very uniform, with the focus of the Panther Romy is really only there to intercept the manufacturing tolerances of different illuminants (manufacturers).

Until about 30 mm Focal I tested the light cone and as wars okay. Whether that is enough for an XL2 synonymous with wide-angle lens, I can not predict.
