Infoseite // Pencil drawing effect

Hello,

long time ago (mid 80s) there was even a video clip of the group "aha" in which a genius "pencil drawing effect was used. The clip was mixed with normal images (eg faces of group members) and this pencil drawings, ie, the faces looked like then bleistiftgezeichnet. The whole thing was moving pictures, still images with no effects, also in color!

Can anyone out there remember and explain what effect was used?

Hi,
the video filter 'wax crayon' in the filter group 'Natural Coloring' section of my program MediaStudioPro is the fairly close. Other programs are likely to cut Beiten similar.

I could well imagine that the video was then rotoskopiert.
Synonymous That would explain the slightly choppy playback (labor savings).

I've done something once, as I've exported the sequence from Premiere as individual images created in Photoshop and then I had an operation in which I then placed a deinterlacer, the corresponding colored pencil filter and what I wanted.

This action, I then applied to the whole directory and the images stored behind imported back into Premiere, of course, with Stillimage = 1Frame.

Instead of Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro and Gimp should also go, and any other program that has macros.

VirtualDub would certainly synonymous a method if there auftreibt a filter to a like. At least, one can thus produce an image sequence, if the editing program permits no export as individual frames.

Certainly, in the sense of the effect would be an attempt to omit the images straight and instead let the other 2 frames long stand.

I believe it almost synonymous. Use it before but did not exactly eye, I could well imagine, however.
Real filmed and then frame for frame, the contours on films redrawn.
