Hi
Generally one can say with the cameras only "Still image quality" to be expected.
This is but the last few years a little better because some cameras on separate media (memory sticks / cards) images.
So you can image the breast-feeding function with some pocket cameras compare.

Pressing the button photo is shot a 7 Sec. Still image recorded long. If you now the pixel multiplizierst, you come to a Resolutionvon ca 0.415 megapixels. For current digital standards so absolute scrap.

So then what is sufficient as a replacement camera to photograph any event.

You can find the - very limited - Picture quality of this camcorder extensively tested to give you your own picture to make.

Unlike all the other HD camcorder offers the DX1 only one photo resolution: 1920x1080. This is no great loss, since even the best video -/Stillimage-Hybriden as SonyHC7 in this point with an entry-level cameras can measure. Nevertheless, we find it surprising that this Panasonic 1300-dollar camcorder no more than the most basic ways to remove photo has.
