Infoseite // Picture jerky -> dubbing of VHS to DVD

Frage von Heide70:

Hi,

'm totally inexperienced with the subject and have unfortunately been found to my problem in this forum there is no reply ...

I would even transfer recorded VHS tapes to DVD.
In addition I've bought the AVS Video Converter. With the AVS-Video-recorder I play the VHS tape first on the PC. I did this "native 720 x 572", elected (or something similar). The result is a avi file.

Then I open the AVS Video Converter. There, I choose the final format as "DVD". In the settings is that the video that is converted into MPEG-2 - also 720 x 572, 25 frames per second. In the Opitionen I could select the video format. PAL since I've taken the highest quality.

Now I have the problem that the picture on the DVD jerky, but the sound is perfectly fine. I feel almost as if images are missing or something ...

Anyway, I am convinced that even more must go synonymous - without stuttering ...

Can someone help me of you, perhaps?

THANKS in advance!

Regards
Heide

Antwort von tommyb:

Do you have the opportunity to select synonymous 50i?

This AVS-Pro-Super-duper-I-convert-all-Programs usually promise more than they can actually hold.

You would probably better with the bloatware NERO Ahead of work that should offer my knowledge synonymous reasonable authoring and encoding options for NON-jerky video.

Perhaps the data rate for "the highest ever of quality" for the player is just too high. Try not you take a quality level lower.
