Here my situation:
Recording with SonyZ1E in DVCam 16:9 50i with 48khz (logically with 16bit - garnicht yes you can, right?)
Result: O Einwadfreier sound at about minute 20 (ie mid-Recording)
Tape from the camera into a SonyDSR-V10p put Watchman (48khz and set is shown) and via firewire s.mein Mac Book with Final Cut Studio 2 connected.
Controlled settings: DV Pal wherever it went.
I am now until after the O-sound on (not quite) is the sound even dubbing (recording time approx 22 min.)
I take on the entire tape (approx. 41 min) is the same O-Sound asynchronously, with the displacement of a trial to try to variirt few frames.
When recording, I have consistently recorded completely. To ensure that no frames are dropped, I have to immediately hook in frame omission hooked.

Basically, it's best with the recording device to capture. The track position of the head and agrees if something is dirty, the shots are safe even for synonymous tonne.
If, however, an "external" solution to capture the good work (keyword bitch Capture) is still the best around the heads of the Cam to spare.
