I bought 3 months ago, the Studio 10 version, and this time they innerhalbn once nuicht get clean ans laufeb. unmotivated program crashes are the norm.
Versions 8 and 9 were at least somewhat, respectively. crashed often ....

The sum of all the problems with a software is inversely proportional to its price. That has always been so. For cheap software often work (only one tenth or even much less) and because developers are still in the same time deliver a stable platform. That just does not work. It's logical.

In 10.0, I can give you right. However, one can clearly see the jumps up to the current 10.6. I could edit the studio pros with 10.5 and 10.6 after my 1:25 HDV video very well, and even the Hintergrundrendern works (almost) smoothly.
Only the DVD authoring, I have the impression that it does what it wants and not what it should, but may be synonymous because I've worked since not enough ...
My Conclusion: Pros Studio 10.6 is recommended!

Studio 10 needs very much computing power.
My opinion on Studio 10:
Super editing program (mainly Final Cut) for a hammer price.
