Infoseite // Pixel Aspect Ratio

Frage von bassabus:

Hello!

I have usdiesen article: http://www.dma.ufg.ac.at/app/link/Basics: video .Postproduction/module/9039
read through and still hooked with a little understanding.

By Sunday the lower Abstastfrequenz creates the Television, so to speak only 720 pixels, the level so that again is something wider.
In the calculator. I have a picture in 4:3 (ie 768 Width - or the corrected synonymous my 786). That is, I now down to 720 pixels expected. To change it, but the pixel aspect ratio is not? Why does the television not just 720 square pixels in a row? Ooooder - makes my PostPro program to re-pixel wide?

Thank you

Addendum!

If I play a DVD on my calculator and play from the menu, make a screenshot (with WinDVD), then this Screenshot 768x576 - how do you explain this?

My contribution:
1. The DVD software (and the synonymous standalone DVD player?) Interpolate the pixels to return to 4:3 to come.
or 2 The menu on the DVD is stored as a 4:3 and the standalone DVD player which shrinks considerably Resolutionund the pixels.

How is it really?

Thank you

mhm ... 768x576 is 4:3 while the ratio of pixel 1
The menu is as far as I know the gang and were in the resolution are presented. but you get the output in the same building if you are with the 720x576 pixel aspect ratio 1.067 searched (ie, D1).

The whole is yes then display the Aspect Ratio and indicates the display aspect ratio of a single image in a digital video. The whole baasiert on the actual Resolutiondes image, not the Resolutionin the picture is displayed.

From the Display Aspect Ratio and Pixel Aspect Ratio (Pixel Aspect Ratio) is in portraying the actual aspect ratio.

Yes, but the standard Resolutionist but 720 * 576, and the pixels are now times have gone and I think then be interpolated.

Somehow I do not understand quite what you actually want more. Where is the understanding of problem?

Thank you for your patience, Markus.

I am a quality freak. And in many tuts is that in Photoshop receives the file with 768 * 576 to create and subsequently runterrechnet to 720 pixels.
I had hoped that might appear on the DVD in 4:3 picture will be saved and then runterskaliert is - so what would be a higher quality. But it is ultimately only there to the correct aspect ratio when designing it.
BTW do I add these 768-menus directly in Encore that and it takes them without Mukke. I add the other hand, a 720er Picture that there are black borders.
Makes me wonder somehow, the Encore can be, but not Premiere.

Apropos, Encore DVD is actually a Beginners Program? I slowly gains the impression:)

I do not know. Except for a first try short of the software so I had no further contact. The acquisition comes for me, no question, because it is here in the forum is definitely too many errors. ;-)
