Hi folks!
Have a strange problem .. synonymous've already searched google and here, but somehow does not fit all.
Did my laptop via cable television s.den connected. Have Picture and Sound in Color, no problem. Quicktime movies can he play that one sees on TV. If I but divx encoded avis trying to do I only a black picture where the film would have run. Find the funny, that it should go in quicktime ... o_o
Have you given ideas, experiences? Do I need any drivers?

If you have your television as a primary desktop setting up (ie start, then on the TV), it should work.
The problem is that for the playback of files of programs like Windows Media Player or similar to a so-called overlay is generated (with what has to do Direct X). This can only be displayed on a monitor, but not two at once (not even if the monitors can be run as a CLONE)
Quicktime is not using, so synonymous is no problem.
