Mir is really important to my old VHS cassettes to digitizer and I think that here in the forum quite experienced users there who can help me to answer my questions ... Question: As a "Beginners" I started my VHS cassettes to Digitizer
Hardware: older TV card Pinnacle PCTV MediaCenter 100i PCI (scart adapter S-Video out> in my TV card S-video in). Software: DaViDeo 2007 for VHS tapes After a little play around, everything went quite well, the only thing that bothers a little is the size (2h = 9GB) but this is a secondary problem.
My real problem is that I do not know whether my TV card Qualitatively Digitizer can just as well as a grave with the whole Schnick Schnack hardware encoder, etc. ..
When I finished my DVDs, I find the quality quite satisfactory, but I do not know whether this still would be better off and how much fps my tv card ausspuckt ... I am just super important to know whether my TV card as well can be as Grabster but for 120 Euros ....
A friend told me that the gap would be nothing and would only be a simplified version that the work would make it easier for the corresponding software + foolproof outputs

Well, do you have with VHS eh not the entire TV quality and what has not, can not be better druch a little more hardware. I'm with TV but not really knowledgeable actually should already be sufficient. The files that you actually need to create properties, with what resolution and fps the whole was made.
I guess it depends on you but eh s.VHS.

That you will find with out a simple test: Video Digitizers same section with both methods and both recordings as burn DVD-Video. This in turn s.Television compare with the VHS-Recording (DVD player and VHS recorder directly connected s.TV). If you see no difference, both methods are adequate for your application.
What often gets forgotten is the influence of reflected VHS recorder as the first link in the digitization chain. If the playback quality itself is no longer good, everything else plays no major role synonymous anymore.
What do you of the resolution / frame rate, etc. .. The settings look good. The image size and frame rate corresponds exactly to what later synonymous lands on DVD.

120 euros from the window throw ... I say something like this: A Videograbber is, depending on the individual hardware, rarely more than one TV card. Ultimately, both options are not optimal, but the next best is only with digital equipment p.165 ¬ possible (Canopus ADVC-55), while the best currently costs 389 ¬ (Canopus ADVC-300 / can be synonymous weekly rent).
