Hello from Florida
am with my HF100 and a 16-GB Transcend card is currently in Florida vacation.
Suddenly, the HF100 gives the following message: "Only with the initialize". This is probably the card meant. From one to the other is nothing more seconds, no more access to the memory card. On the PC I get the message that the memory card is not formatted, it will be a format is proposed.
Is there still a possibility, s.den contents of the card ranzukommen? Did the last 4 days prior to the notebook is saved on the card are still almost 2 hours irreplaceable vacation memories.
Please help me. Has anyone a hint for me?

what it looks like I have all my files are restored. I can not check because I with an older notebook bin. HD video playback is impossible.
But I have almost 16 GB MTS files restored, so I assume it went well. The files, however, have now a different name and the date of treatment today, so I am still not 100% sure am ...

Hello,
we have 2 HF-100. One works perfectly. In the 2nd Saturday, we had exactly this problem.
Card should be initialized. PC card could not read and wanted to format.
After a little research on the Internet, I have the tool Photorec and TestDisk http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk_DE found and thus all data restore. Unfortunately, all files now have a different name but that should lower the problem.

There have even been restored data, which actually has long been erased. :-(;)
First we had the SD card into suspicion, so new Transcend 16GB pure and losgefilmt. The next day the same problem with the brand new card.
I think maybe the Cam has a shot. Currently she is on review / repair the Manufacturer.

Now after I'm back home, I must say I was happy too early. Photo Rescue has all the video files are restored, however, not correct. All files start the first 1-2 seconds normally, then they start bucking s.zu and I have only a Still Image.

da muss ich mal schauen directly whether the Vids I completely synonymous or through only the first few seconds are OK and the rest jerky.
Did you have other problems of this nature, or is with the new SD card sauteuren everything OK?
As I said, we have 2 new card tested and with all these problems. Now the Cam exchanged. Thanks AMAZON no problem.

You've already used and PhotoRec TestDisk or not? Because PhotoRec is extra for movies and pictures.

with the new map so far everything is OK. Will check next time.
Have Photorec used. So far I have not yet synonymous reviewed all the videos. As I see it yet, but the results are better than my first attempt with Photo Rescue.
Some videos seem to be correct and some have errors and bucking.
I have the next test yet, but unfortunately the cost of everything so much time.

to me it looks pretty good from synonymous. Was probably added to the card issue is still a problem with the media player.
The files all seem really to be in order. Photo Photorec and Rescue synonymous pretty much have the same files brought to light.
I was synonymous with the many Altdateien be confused, which in fact has long been erased. The hanging part s.den new files on it.
You should probably always initialize the card and not just empty, after the files on the PC is playing.
