Infoseite // Powerpoint as an endless loop on DVD

Frage von Gast Susanne:

Hello,
Unfortunately, I find no practical approach to my problem:

Can someone detail me just explain how I use my Powerpoint presentation as a continuous loop on a DVD can burn?

If I choose the format ppt, I can not play the DVD?
Moreover, I find the "Loop" is not.
It would be really nice if I get a step-by-step instructions could get.

Many thanks
Susanne

Hi, Susanne!

I assume that you have a video DVD with DVD-mean, right? Why must it be? If you have a Powerpoint presentation, then you can make it so, as it is, and as a powerpoint presentation run.

What you plan, this is a transition from the world of computers into the video world. Of course you can do it, but that's a lot of effort. You must then begin all times in films to create the right size, ie 768 pixels wide and 576 pixels high. And adequate security around the edge ( "Safe Area") let. Then you have all the slides into an editing program and then import the presentation of "imitating". Then make a video DVD and make a looping run. Whether it is for the acquisition of a Powerpoint presentation into an editing program is an automatic function, which I do not know. In Macromedia Director, there is a feature, a series of individual images out to them in the editing program to import.

Man can synonymous Microsoft Powerpoint and Apple Keynote obviously just a movie - synonymous in the desired size - the entire presentation output. Can be found under "Export" and allows Keynote synonymous with more settings, such as the codecs. So everything is set via Quicktime. In Quicktime (for example in the Quicktime player) can be synonymous between the different pages to navigate. So the "links" - and "Right" buttons. So not exactly a film that only runs. I have such a film synonymous times in DVD Studio Pro is imported. The individual pages are there as a chapter marks auto detected. So we see in Powerpoint or Keynote just a certain amount of time per slide and can then navigate via the chapter markers. Expenses for: a maximum of two minutes.
Or you can export all the slides as images and created a simple slideshow in authoring program. Even then you can via the remote control buttons "chapter back" and "next chapter" easy to navigate. Effort: two minutes.

Nonsense. Do not. This has perhaps ten years ago it made. Today we export functions.

Fine, so I asked whether there is now something there. It remains, nevertheless, that they are based on the safe area must respect.

Hello,
thank you once for the many replies!
Is more complicated than I thought. Unfortunately, I have no other option than the Powerpoint presentation on a DVD player play.

I have now found someone who told me the Powerpoint presentation (as always synonymous) in an AVI file is converted.

Now I have the next problem:
How do I get the looping out ... or can I file as often as possible to burn a CD until it is full?

Sincerely,
Susanne

Not necessary. In DVD authoring program, you can specify what the player after the film make. The command is then called, for example, "Playing in front of 'or' first film play."

Such an old version of Powerpoint, I had not in my hands. Since I can not help. After a short Google search, it seems almost as that PowerPoint for Windows can not do that. But why should Powerpoint s.Mac the more able? Is it a practical and of my often-used feature.

No clue. As most times my Mac version viewed: You probably think the "film", right? The fact seems to be in the Windows version not to give.

Then the extent Ursprungsfragerin everything ready, always beautiful on the edges (Safe Area) care so then go to a Mac and then make the movie. There is probably a Quicktime Mov, which must then of course for the video DVD into an MPEG-2 umcodiert be.

The simplest solution is with any DVD authoring program:
Put the. Avi as background to the DVD menu. Pack something (one frame is sufficient) as the "Movie" behind the menu, put a "." as a chapter mark, then, where he never noticed, and burn the DVD.
Thus starts the menu, running until the end of the front and begins to auto!
