Since a few months "working" do with Premiere Elements 4 and can say the following when working with HDV material:
- Audio Ausetzter (on 3 different PC probiert) sometimes you have to work practically deaf: (
- For large HDV files> 12GB (or Canon XH-A1) is the sound no longer syncron: (((to control VLC everything is fine), with smaller Mpeg files works fine
- For the rendering takes to burn BD (h264) in a 2 1 / 4 hour film about 30 hours and one (MPEG 1080) 1 1/4Std. Film about 2 hours and with the:
- A Quad QX6700 2.66 Ghz, 3GB Ram, 750GB and 1TB HDs
However, Premiere Elements 4 was always depend, either for rendering or BD Brener, until now I have two burn BD media (BD and the media are not cheap) a third medium is currently in the works
- 8.5 GB DL DVD's create virtually no problems.
- Export of another film project in internetkompatible different format, (on another PC) gabs synonymous problems vorallem trailers ...
WHAT can you do?
- ASIO4ALL?
- Take CS3?
- Patches to wait (and drink tea;)
with whom läufts PE4 with BD without any problems? My box is actually very good and stable

Hello,
had similar experiences, especially in the rendering timings: 1 hour movie = 20h render on a Dual Core Xeon Core2Duo Calculator with 4GB memory .. that is probably intentional? Had a hanging synonymous when rendering, fortunately before burning .. Audio dropouts, I had not before.
If the BluRay is finished it will run very well, however, synonymous to the PS3.

Conversion to H.264 lasts. That is so.
It is synonymous to a folder on hard drive can be created rather than directly to burn. Then you can use the "disc" before testing. I would burn with the NIE Schnittproggi. Take a real Brennproggi.
If the BD blanks are too expensive, there is still synonymous Harddisk multimedia player, for example, the PopcornHour. The plays EVERYTHING to 1920x1080p.

What do you think of Canopus or Sony Vegas. Can one of you recommend the program while working with the xh-a1?
