Hi Folks,
earlier editDV it was not a problem, while temporarily mute the handling of a project, a soundtrack.
In Premiere Elements, I do not think this feature.
Is it still possible?

Sure. But unfortunately not with a single click.
To turn mute a clip:
If the clip is connected with a video, click the Timeline while holding the Alt-button on the clip to select only the audio clip.
Select Clip> Enable. (For the deactivation of the clip disappears, the checkmark in Clipmenü, and the Clip name is grayed out in the lane.)
