my tools for video editing, Premiere Pro 2.0, After Effects 7.0 and Photoshop CS2.
Since I soon will move to Vienna to study there, I need a new mobile video editing computer. Since I am the fingers of W. Vista to be carried out, and my financial budged only
very limited, I thought a MacBook with 2.4 GHz and 2 GB of RAM to buy. Long story short: Is this computer your opinion for the above mentioned programs wherever appropriate, they may perform redundant?

The following rationale: The current iMac 20 "2.4 GHz Core2Duo costs 999 ¬, a two-bolt GB RAM - of Apple-related - 59 ¬, two fit inside. So do you have for 1117 ¬ a much more powerful device than this stupid MacBook (which I've synonymous, but really rarely use).
FCS2 runs around in any case. Restrictions on the graphics card probably relate primarily Motion and Color in particular.

Megger is right. The advantage of a Mac is the operating system. Point. A MacBook is nice for the internet or as a portable DVD player for his time away from home movies to show. The additional costs beyond any Schlepptop win, especially for you, you already have the software, make for DV editing is not paid.
