Infoseite // Preview of the film Macbook!

Frage von CTP:

Hello dear community Slashcam

Is it possible that I am in Final Cut Express directly on the Macbook
see what can I film? So instead, I simply on the Picture
the small display of the cam can see.

Moreover, as it looks with AVCHD editing? Where an MBP with 2GB RAM
out. As I said the software would be used FCE.

Kind regards

CTP

PS: The camera model would be the HDR-SR10.

Antwort von Axel:

Yes and no. With a FireWire-compatible codec you could capture live and could have a preview. With USB, not well. If anyone knows anything else, please correct.
AVCHD is not natively with a Mac-cut program. One problem is still not. iMovie and FCE have AppleIntermediate Codec (Please check preferences, whether the mode is indeed "full resolution" provides), and thus you have umpteen times more real than with Windows software, which can natively cut. Leading you can also synonymous with Boot Camp and Windows use Edius and Vegas. Here, however, your calculator a bottleneck, because it would be too lame for that I think is. My advice: Go for AIC!

Antwort von CTP:

Thank you. I have heard from the AIC. Would in any case, the
ausprobieren. Because my SonyVaio, which is still around here
has 4GB RAM and dual core 2.2 GHz and can not even smoothly
Playing AVCHD, from the cut, we will not talk about time ;-)

Antwort von CTP:

On the Vaio, I can return the raw AVCHD files do not play smoothly. I use the latest version of VLC player, my standard video player. Must say though, that the laptop has a rather weak ATI graphics card. Perhaps this is the problem. I will try it once with the MPB and communicate my experiences here.
