While it is certainly well qualified for the job, but my AVID Xpress Pro HD V 5.2.4 can not install!
The first thing I get while installing an error that a file can no longer register (*. ax) After the installation, then starts AVID does not, but will start when the error message:
Error: Access Violation s.0x7c34240D (tried to write s.0x00000000), program terminated
Well, after a few searches on the net, I found solution attempts of uninstalling a Windows patches on Änderund the boot.ini to disable the HT technology, and just worked for me.

Hi folks, 'm just on the same problem and so completely and not at all satisfied, especially since so programs such as After Effects, Photoshop and synonymous my operating system to use both processors. Furthermore, although the old Avid Xpress Pro flawlessly with two cores, synonymous only if it has used. It must give a solution but not the processor performance. That can not seriously be of Avid. Who can help or are there people with Avid Xpress Pro HD 5.2.4. on a dual core system is running? Updates? Danke schon mal, TC1.
