Hallo ihr lieben,
I have a small question s.euch professionals. ;)
I have a VX1E and fro, and would like to capture directly from the S-video output to my PC. To this end I bought a TerraTec Cinergy 800e with composite and S-video input and hardware encoders.
So far, Sogut. If I VX1E s.meinen tube TV via composite and a scart adapter subscribe, then the whole synonymous still works without problems. When I go but now with the VX1E via S-Video s.meinen computer, I just get the following image problems:

Interlaced - ie fields (are) might be the problem.
But when import "should be the No Prob - and later one makes progressive (full frames draus) if you spend on INet or PC's like.

No not really.
S-Video is actually synonymous to better quality (vs. RCA) - but the Hardwaare is often the point of cracking.
I sat for years on the Pinnacle PCI Cards with BreakOut Box (now own 3 pcs)
Impeccable quality no preference whether VHS or Hi8
