Infoseite // Problems with 16:9 in HDV

Frage von joku:

Hi folks,

I hope you can help me.

I'm new in HDV (Canon HV10). Capturing and editing with VS10plus works fine. Only I have a problem when outputting to DVD.

I have the movie with the Cam recorded as HDV, with HDV VS10plus as imported, as a 16:9 project and eventually worked as a 16:9 DV output to DVD.

Now when looking at the TV will switch on this car to 16:9 but the movie has black bars and is "pushed".

What do I do wrong? Had the likes with the HV10 in HDV movies than with 16:9 DV output.

Ever thank you for your help!

Antwort von Quadruplex:

That sounds more like a problem of the TV or DVD player.

In the setup menu (setup) of the DVD player must be in 16:9 format on it, your television must be of course a 16:9-device or a 4:3 TV with 16:9-switching be.

So s.DVD players and s.Television can not lie. The Television is a flat and there may be synonymous yes 16:9 movies from the TV and watch s.DVD (Home Cinema) I can not adjust. Looks like doing this as this car.

Make me something to create the wrong movie? Did not even to an idea or a tip?

Would be great if you could help me.

Antwort von Axel:

Distorted and black bars? Sounds like a checkbox called "letterbox", where there is only "16:9 anamorphic" should mean. Problem with the author. Although not familiar with Ulead, but it should look like.

Thanks Axel,

but what does that mean? I can create the video and burning to DVD just click on whether 4:3 or 16:9 it should be. Unfortunately, however, no distinction as "letterbox" or "16:9 anamorphic."

Did I maybe me the wrong program increased?

Someone knows how I manage with the Ulead?
