Infoseite // Problems with Panasonic CGA-DU21 Batteries

Frage von Reinald:

Hello,
I was looking for my GS-400 for replacement batteries, so I do not always have to lug the charger. I was a little uncertain in terms of quality third-party, and was glad when I found a supplier who submitted the original Panasonic Batteries on ebay for about half the list price. So I bought two DU21 (2040mAh), which have thus about 50% more capacity than the original DU14 (1360mAh).

My problem: The new Batteries not seem to have the specified capacity, the duration of the camera is noticeably shorter than with the original DU14, something only half the time.

The Batteries came in blister packs, which all looked quite plausible, though I have at the moment the impression that it might be in the Batteries counterfeit.

Question 1: Are there known fakes? Or have similar problems to other users?

Question 2: Does anyone have experience with the complaints of Batteries? Normally sowas is always excluded from the warranty, but still must indeed a battery only reach approximately times the rated capacity ...

Thanks and greetings
Reinald

Antwort von Reinald:

Ebay seller's name was reiten_tina, behind it lies a Martina Fritz man from Berlin.

She had a lot of the Batteries (50 " 100 set?) In a power auction, the price was 31,99 EUR BUY NOW. Since I have taken hold two ...

I probably would have with the 2100mAh Batteries-the-party fared better.

Antwort von Peter S.:

The information on the capacity of the Batteries are in the legal sense, a "guaranteed capacity". If the actual capacity is lower, you have the right to change / reduction or cancellation of the contract.

Depends what you mean by fake:

Normally, if you irgendo one DU21, DU14 and DU07, and since not standeth "Moose Panasonic", then it is always replica-Batteries that look virtually the same as the original of Panasonic Batteries, just not the original product label of Panasonic .
In this respect I would, at least the two I have, not be described as forgeries, but as a replica. Often it is synonymous somewhere enlightening "DU07/DU14/DU21 compatible with" what are my least synonymous, and the synonymous to do.

No one would a Panasonic original battery (like below its cost price and the money to the DU21 nachgeschmissen get one today, they are certainly not Panasonic ago), but not the product of Panasonic arrives.

From the Battery capacity has so far had given me the two I have nothing negative (in Comparison to the Original Battery ", which has its fixed price and only of Panasonic himself comes noticed no other sources). But it may well be that the life duration of the cheaper Batteries depending on the quality of the "reactor" may be less. And:

For Li-Ion aging begins with the production, ie the date of manufacture is an important factor for the remaining life time, which still has the Battery, if you get it:

If the Battery, Storage & Transport exposes to high temperatures, and was encamped not cool, it has this past time even worse impact than when refrigerated or their recommended 15 degrees has been stored.

One might: All LiIon Batteries in cold weather have reduced output. because the chemical processes will run more slowly. 20-25 degrees is to be optimal for the operation, below 10 degrees, the performance is stark, that I myself have all LiIon Batteries I use confirm the view. When shooting in the cold, so it's s.besten who Batteries (as long as possible to keep warm but not too warm, which destroys him, because then run the chemical processes, including the unloading and rapid decomposition, but would take s.Körper ok) and just replace immediately suspend the use of cold and when they have cooled too much. The electrolyte is obviously contain water, and when the electrolyte freezes, First of we could not do more. On the eighth best on the operating data, inferior LiIon Batteries might seem cold, even through the freezing of the electrolyte kapputgehen.

I have for my two batteries DU21 NV-GS400 at two different eBäh purchased dealers. Both were in primary Blisterkartons were synonymous and sold as such. The funny thing is that both Batteries look very different, although actually the same product. One is about 3 mm shorter, the dark plastic, labels and other colors, the contact slots / times are different. The latter means that a battery did not fit properly, wobbles and loses contact, which is quite supertoll when this happens, for example, in the underwater housing. The term I have not yet tested, I reload some movies and in fact after each use.
Unfortunately, I no longer know who is what I have bought the two Batteries. So I can not warn of a particular dealer. But to me it was the confirmation that counterfeit goods are sold as original and made quite an effort.
