Hello together. I have no issue found here about this problem.
I have a SonyPD-100 (DVCAM) and try for hours to build a connection between the PD100 and iMovie, and import recorded on. It will not funz easy. My Mac (iMac G5) and iMovie only reports: "No connection to the camera." The choices for the settings in iMovie, as well as in the PD-100 are not necessarily synonymous so lush.
Have been synonymous another camcorder (Panasonic DX100) rangehängt, ... works perfectly. The tapes, which I record with the PD100, I can not just zuspielen on the DX-100, as far as I know. Because of the faster recording speed of the PD-100. Only not just with the PD100.
You know of anyone this problem?
Did not have a PC now synonymous s.welchem I could try now, sowas not come into my house:) ... I feel really drum only thing that bring s.nem Mac up and running. Could it be that the FireWire interface of the CAM is broken? Because doing so no peep.
Best regards in the round and I would be very happy about an answer.
Antwort von srone:
experimental times, the power supply operation wire cam (firewire and turn on) and when going down apple, apple then boot up.
Antwort von Jott:
Although this is a truly historic Camera (1997?), But the FireWire communication with Apple, of course, is easily as with all Sony DV / DVCAM devices - because these two companies together had concocted the whole end of the 90s.
Purchased used Of Unknown? Then it may well be that the owner of the port by wrong batter has a FireWire connector killed. Grobmotoriker actually do it well, so what hinzukriegen.
