Infoseite // Problems with the size of Ulead DVD Power Tools 2

Frage von Slash86:

Hi
I have the following problem:

I'm with Ulead DVD Power Tools 2 nen super menu, handicrafts, and wants them now create nen image or the whole burn to DVD. My starting material was synonymous MPEG 2, because I cut with Magix Video Deluxe got (is a long story why I'm nich directly exported as a DV)!
At any rate, I can adjust s.Decoder bit as I am funny, which is not observed at all ... always get the same exact image size out, and which unfortunately is 4.57 GB .... little too much?
I have the feeling that this is not re-render ... so because he realizes that this is already MPEG2. But I do not know how I can be said that it will recalculate everything! I do not find in the program!

Please help me, I am under time pressure because the whole has to be ready until wednesday evening!

Thanks schonmal now

Thomas

Moin,
PT2, Step Edit, rider video Expire check the "Convert to Disc Template" Same with audio. Now set in PT2 setting, or select a project that has a corresponding bit rate, or modify an existing under Output.
Now the film is synonymous changed. This here is of me, but even here in the forum.

Antwort von WeiZen:

Moin,
wrong field order. Select the same settings as the original. PT shows you right click on the film under Edit>> Properties.
there is no possibility of linking against special other encoder in PT2, except the hardware encoders canopus DVStorm.

Antwort von Slash86:

Thank you!
So I rendere just the thing again with the same bit rate as the original (VBR max 8000kbs). 'm Curious about whether that helps. Is really annoying that you can install any other codecs that would help so much.

Greeting
Thomas

/ / Edit

I noticed that the problems occur only with some DVD players. Could it be that there is a bit rate problem? (the first was continuous with VBR 8500kbs)

Antwort von WeiZen:

Moin,
Some DVD players can only be a maximum of 6000th
At 8500, it can be lying on the peaks. If you add additional audio to remember!, One comes quickly over 9400th
And it was synonymous for one frame. If this is so the DVD player needs to take a very long time to re-kick. 8000 range completely.
Einsteellung What did you use for audio?

Antwort von Slash86:

So now got ne version with 7000kbs VBR, 384kbs audio (MPEG). On the issue has not changed anything yet.
On my DVD player it makes exact same problems as in the first version, and in the 5 other DVD players, he is also making problems, just not as strong as mine.
I am now with my Latin s.end. Soon I will again ask a friend who does nothing other than professional DVD authoring at Bertelsmann.

I think the quality of the PT2 encoder pretty awful - in Comparison to the Canopus Procoder Express for example. Avoid, therefore, import DV. Is it my imagination or do you see the same?

Antwort von WeiZen:

Moin,
correct. The menus even see a bit better when I use the hardware encoder of the Storm, because of the binds in PT2.

Thus, the hardware encoder option is for me no question because I have only nen laptop. Is difficult ne reinzuquetschen PCI card!

I have solved my problem but ultimately after all. ANd while I have the complete deLuxe Rendering with the exact bitrate in Sony Vegas Video made and then exported to Ulead PT2.

There, I've exported it easily without compression with a menu image and eliminates behold: All problems are!
