Quality imported into the PC videos much worse than the original

Frage von rudi71910:

Hi,

I'm new here, after an endless search through all sorts of Internet forums, I now look forward to your help.
In fact, I would like to know whether the image quality, with which we import a video of a DV camera (Canon MV550i) into the PC via FireWire, which depends of the quality of the graphics card.
I've only got ne old Nvidia MX400 in my otherwise very good upgraded Calculator and wonder why the imported video is so much worse than the original on the Mini DV. Direct Comparison I s.den TV because the PC is connected and the DV Camera Ebenfall s.den TV can be connected to watch the original video.

I have it with Magix Video deluxe 2003/2004, Windows Movie Maker and Nero Vision Express tried the imported video does not compare to her with the picture quality of the original.

I'm all for every suggestion, which goes towards improving quality of imported videos, welcome!
Danke schon mal für eure Hilfe.

Greeting
Rudiger

Your questions have been in the last two weeks in this forum and asked to answer two or three times, so intense your search can not therefore have been.

No, the picture quality when dubbing is independent of the graphics card from. On the tape of your camera data are transmitted to the PC. As long as you choose to be in your DV-AVI capture program, the data is transferred 1:1 and the quality of your video will remain unchanged. If you have chosen, however, convert to another format (eg MPEG), your PC already at your beautiful video capturing accordingly to. Ggf That can mean a significant loss of quality. If you have selected the DV-AVI and the Picture on the PC is lousy: Evt Resolutionbzw you need to increase color depth of your PC. May be synonymous, that your video) full of "dramatic" movement and you have a comb effect because the DV-AVI is interlaced and you staggered fields on the PC screen (in contrast to the TV can only see at the same time. Otherwise, still a lot of other possible causes.
Your description is a bit like "my car it makes strange noises, so I can only guess.

The video outputs of graphics cards can be pretty lousy. Where, because what comes out, we can therefore not judge the quality of the video.

If you replay your video via Firewire to DV, the quality is the same again.
