Infoseite // Question Manfrotto tripod support base 503 and ex. Hama DeltaPro-Tripod

Frage von Jörg S.:

Hello!

In the intensive search I found this forum and found that there is an answer to almost every question - maybe synonymous to my:

I would like an older Hama Tripod (Year 1997) of the DeltaPro series (what time for the big S-VHS is designed to equip Schultercams) with one head, Manfrotto MA-503 for use with a SonyVX 2100th Application is the use in highly uneven terrain, where (the existing extendable central column, then it is about 1,80 m extended) may be important for a halfway usable camera position is (That is not the Hama Tripod is a professional, I know ... -- ))
The head shot of the stand consists of a circular disk with 59.5 mm diameter. In the middle there is a recording of a 3 / 8 "threaded screw. Furthermore, are arranged in a radius of 24 mm with three evenly spaced holes 4.3 mm in diameter.

Of this corresponds to the Manfrotto mentioned "flat head support base"? MA 503 are the head can easily attached and here are simultaneously secured with three screws in the aforementioned holes against twisting?

Despite intensive searching, I found no drawing or view of the underside of the MA 503 - Bogen Imaging, and responded to my email request (s) is not synonymous :-(

Maybe I will now find it in this forum - that would be huge rejoice. Thanks for all the answers!

Hello Jörg,

the head of your host Hama tripod is the Manfrotto 503 MA Neigekopf perfectly valid. The original MA 120 Thread Adapter 3 / 8 "- 1 / 4" is equipped as well with your tripod with three setscrews. Thus, the Neiger can be firmly secured. As mentioned above, fits the MA 503 100% on your Hama tripod.

Jorg,

that's just the subtle difference between quality and mass produced. When you get Sachtler very first quality. Detali-and exploded on the various products here are very easy to brand standards. The customer is fully informed about the product. That quality synonymous requires a higher price, should be clearly synonymous. In Manfrotto because it moves differently. Information can be hard to get and when, then use Fraps or Italian. The customer-friendly as can be desired mightily. Here one tries to attract customers on the cheaper price. So, who likes to buy quality Sachtler.

On the technical support in the stands may perhaps be true, but in general one can certainly not see it. I Manfrotto Tripods and now it was not unhappy with it. However, I am researching the answers to my questions, mostly on the Internet or ask the dealer, where I intend to buy. ;-)
