Hi,
I am not sure whether I should buy a Zoom H4n or to wait for a firmware update of the 7D.
I do not know the audio quality of the zoom H4n. Can someone tell me whether I am with the Zoom (+ NTG2) will always have better audio quality or whether I am for an update of the 7D with a NTG2 (jack> XLR) attract the same can.

External recording device and the Rhode looped - the sound in addition s.die 7D / include natural (as a reference tone) - and you are better off than with the H4!
Even with NEM Update with Ner VDSLR still not be top - as a good external sound recording devices are simply better.
It would be cool if one VDSLR TC (time code would offer). ;-)
