Hello
I'm trying to get my VHS tapes to your PC.
As I read here is probably the most work with looping through the camera.
I connected my camera (SonyPC100) s.meinen VCR and can record synonymous. Now I wanted to but the same picture from the video recording to your computer. When I connect the camera now s.den PC, the monitor of the camera-blue, then Picture from the video is gone. I disconnect from PC Camera, I have again the signal from the video recorder on the camera. Camera is by i-link and is synonymous s.PC recognized. I would now virtually everything for the first record to DV tape and then to the PC.
Do I something wrong or why the picture is not looped through with me?

Presumably you have the analog input s.Camcorders still unlock. How to do this would be in the manual of your camcorder.

That works indeed synonymous. I stopped getting the images are not next to the PC.

If I understand correctly, the analog inputs are available, just can not digitize the analog signal and pass directly through Firewire s.den PC, but needs only to MiniDV tape recorded and gecapturet in a second step. (What a sentence!)
Norbert, some camcorders can digitize analog recordings only in this way. Whether the PC100 that is wanted, should the user guide are available. Sometimes it is necessary to make an adjustment in the menu, so that the camcorder acts as an A / D converter.
