Frage von irishman:

Hello,

I have seen that the current camcorder models besides good video quality synonymous high photo quality and resolution bidding. It seems to me very handy when traveling or on outings with only one device good video - and photographs them. In the area up to approximately ¬ 1000 seems the most SonyHDR-XR500VE or the Panasonic HDC-SD300 s.ehesten in question. Is the image quality with these models because of an approximately 6-megapixel compact digital camera comparable? What camera (Sony or Panasonic) would be for use on trips, etc. to recommend?

In addition, I have a question about the digital video material. So far, the recordings could be yes, in the form of video cassettes and tapes simply archived. For HD camcorders are the other hand, huge amounts of data. What would be the long-term archiving of the images the most sensible choice?

As far as I have read, would be for AVCHD - probably an extremely powerful computer is needed. The Sony could indeed synonymous directly in MPEG2 format. Is synonymous to an older computer imaginable? If the pictures but now in the AVCHD format, these can be easily for faster processing in MPEG2 format to be converted? How long would such a conversion in approximately 1 hour of video material for last?

Thanks for the help!

The Photqualität of HD Cams should be equal to or better than those of the digicams point & shoot generation, because the optics are slightly better and above all, bigger.
The pictures that I as stills with my Canon HV are doing very well and I suppose since almost synonymous with a digicam. Only in special circumstances, the DSLR with :-)
What are some images may suffer under Flash, either because the do not have the flash or something awkward sitting.
As for converting AVCHD to another format, I would not HDV Mpeg2, as synonymous which is not ideal for further processing. AVI would rather offer with the correct resolution. Depending on the calculator would be about 2-10 real time mean.

The latter is true for professional format, but not for the camcorder, to the point here: They take in highly compressed formats, so that the amount of data - depending of the chosen data rate Camera s.der - up quite a bit less formidable than a MiniDV -. When HDV is incidentally exactly the same amount of data in the usual s.wie DV and you can host bands directly practical use for archiving. Simpler, more convenient and cheaper to operate.

Thank you for the answers.
The two of Sony (HDR-XR500VE) and Panasonic (HDC-SD300) are so hard to drive or memory card. It is interesting to learn that the amount of data despite the high resolution is no larger than MiniDV data, although of course the then archiving to tape, probably unlike HDV, is no longer possible. But the picture quality, despite the high compression better than MiniDV?

Can someone advise me as to the above models give?

The Sony model can indeed - apart AVCHD - synonymous in MPEG2 format. Is it then to HDVMPeg2 or the "standard" MPEG2 on a DVD? If for archiving on DVD, this format still be converted?

Thank you for the hints synonymous to Photo function, it is good to know that the quality is actually comparable.

Again thank you for the information!
