Our question now is whether anyone would be so nice from this forum and we could borrow a Røde NTG-1, 2 or 3. We would of course pay synonymous!

If you want to rotate with the SD707, you will come with the NTG-1 or NTG-3 is not far way: These mics need phantom power that can not communicate the Panasonic.

NTG-1 and NTG-3 will need a power supply to the functioning of the part of the camera, and the SD707 is on a now not even exist. Since you had to switch between them as still such a part as an active Beachtek adapter that supplies the power. Concentrate so better to a NTG-2, because as you can simply use a standard AA battery.
