Hi,
I just now came across this forum when I was looking for a solution to my little problem ...
The following would be the same synonymous my sample:
Have above camcorder and would like to copy a videotape of the Kammera on my laptop.
Have the Kammera via the DV-out with a Firewire cable connected s.meinem laptop (and both 4-pin ...)...
I tried different software (; movie maker, WinDV, scenalizyer) but the result was always the same, "no video device found".
Now to my question: What would happen if I connect the laptop Kammera s.meinen, Windows should recognize it then?
If so, then what is already fauel because my windows do not insert the stems of Kammera ... (; Via USB, the Kammera detected and the appropriate drivers I installed ...)
What can I do now / what have I forgotten any, so the part we do not recognize ...
Am on any tip, any help, any link appreciated!!

I have the same problem.
Have a current Win XP SP2, constantly updated on the online updates,
other camcorder to
identify problems without the medion md 9035, it seems to give problems,
it does nothing, firewire diag schemes have synonymous nothing, kinda strange ..

I have almost the same problem, so it looks like this: plug in when I use the camcorder via USB, driver and everything is on it, then the device in Device manager recognized everywhere as synonymous "found hardware" everything works, only: the part is not displayed in Explorer, so pick out the files I can. or how does it work? I have never seen a camera connected s.den pc ...
