WMV can be played only with the Windows Media Player. (; Each time Windows is installed I think), avis actually synonymous, but if it is a Div-X-Avi you will need the DivX player or ffd-show (; so that is then synonymous with the Media Player of Windows) do DX50 ichauch not what it is, I think XVid is synonymous with the DivX Player (; white but not exactly)
