If you are lucky, s.einem "E" (Europe, PAL) or a "U" or "J" (USA / JAPAN NTSC) in the type designation. Otherwise, probably not, as long as not "PAL" stands out ...

Another option would be equal to any other type designation, as long as Canon (the MV800, for example, was ZR100 in the U.S. and in Japan FV500) or Panasonic (PV-GS. .. instead NV-GS ...) are common.
