Infoseite // Recording Problems 16:9 (APPCS3)

Frage von R. Andi:

Fine Good day.

We grade sit in front of a big problem with the nice APPCS3 --
Project/Recording- etc even though all settings are set to 16:9, the premiere recording of captured only in 4:3.

Although they are in the timeline correctly, but when both control VLC with the reputation of the original file, as synonymous everything rendered material, appears as gesqueeztes 4:3 material.

We have checked all settings several times, new projects created and tried, the tape material is definitely 16:9, but we are now really perplexed.

Has anyone ever even possibly something had, or are creative suggestions?
Is almost real to cry ....

Merci schonmal in advance!

Perhaps you should look at the VLC 16:9 switch?
What show because the "Properties" to APP CS3? As is probably already 720x576 PAR 1.422, or not? I think already, because in the timeline so correctly will ...

The main thing is that when recording in the timeline and the end product (eg DVD) agrees with the aspect ratio. That some simple software player the aspect ratio may not be correct, has nothing to say.

Have we always done around probezuschauen times - but it is generally the case that no first preference whether 4:3, 16:9 etc. cinemascope correctly.

But have a workaround at rausspielen found, but thank you for the tips!

Aja, there was still something ....
Sorry, there was so thrilled to have finally discovered.

THEREFORE, error was of course as you already hinted at of the players.
Will you do 16:9 with the 1422 pixels are displayed correctly, then you have options in the Render 1024x576 and specify the pixel format Square (1.0) constitute - voila, the correct representation.

Virtually all software players go out of square pixels and do not analyze whether a file with non-square pixels exists (finding of despair afternoon).

So, false alarm, sorry for the stress, but everything is ok.

To convert square pixels, the "cowardly" variant. ;) That you should only do with shooting, which exclusively s.PC shown. On normal DVDs or burn back into the camcorder can play man sowas will no longer work.
