Infoseite // Recording without fan noise: s.besten Where do I attach an extra mic?

Frage von Riki1979:

Dear filmmakers,

Yesterday I had ever the problem with the fan noise of my camera (Panasonic HDC-SD707) agesprochen here and asked if this an additional microphone would be useful. And "nicecam has advised me synonymous to an additional microphone.

Now I've ordered at the web the "Panasonic VW-VMS2E Stereo Microphone for camcorder. Furthermore I have found on the web but no reports, but I know that one can of STEREO to MONO switch and vice versa.

S.besten Where do I attach it so the fan noise of my camera are recorded as low as possible? I've got a tripod, which I on the right and left of the camera can each secure a splint for Zustatzgeräte! And my idea would be (especially since the fan is LEFT) that I added the right of the micro-camera and then attach the stereo mode records in order to be recorded well, for example, at a church concert with music and announcements between the acoustics.

Is my thinking approach ever good or would you propose to me any other ideas how I get a good sound quality?

The internal microphone of my camera so the quality is synonymous her very well, but it always draws on the fan noise with!

In plays and concerts, I use during the Aufzeuchnung good way synonymous Headphones!

LG Rico!

I'm not sure if it actually (only) is a fan noise. It could be another synonymous internal noise.

In any case there is ever a good thing that you have the opportunity to micro a bit away from the camera body to attach. Since your accessory rail, however, virtually undamped with the cam is connected to the body sounds are captured with still. This can be resolved because a suspension mount, where the microphone is stored additionally resilient and damped.

@ Riki1979, first a note (so for next time). You would have to open a new thread for your question must be yes because the question fits to your other thread, especially since you even write in the same sub-forum.

To your question here:

@ Riki1979: Then I wanted to go synonymous. Is that what you call Tripod, really as a rail, the shoe on the Accessory of the camera is placed, or you have a separate microphone stand? That would be the better option, as the then fully mechanical micro of the Camera is disconnected. Then there would be no preference for the sound synonymous, whether the micro then, say 1m to the right or left of the camera is, unless the fan noise was very loud - then still annoying during soft passages.

It is best concerts / theater, etc., of course, ran so close s.die sound source as possible. But first, a proper miking is so very expensive and secondly, what more for the (sound) benefits. Since I'm stumped, still almost synonymous.

I know not synonymous, whether you do it alone, or together with several.

Something like that, I suggested to him in the other thread already synonymous. Fit but not to the Micro, which has ordered Riki1979 now.

No, there are two tracks that are not directly connected with the camera, but with the Tripod.

It is this tripod here: http://www.google.de/imgres?imgurl=http://www.bestoftechnic.de/out/oxbaseshop/html/0/images/wysiwigpro/fotovideostativ9.jpg&imgrefurl=http:// www.bestoftechnic.de/Stillimage- -Tripod-Koepfe/Stillimage-Videostativ-Tripod-VT-7005D.html Video & usg = __Xhb7SZ9Eyttng6iIRloQ0YVVzMQ = & h = 203 & w = 499 & sz = 26 & hl = en & start = 7 & zoom = 1 & um = 1 & ITBS = 1 & tbnid =- ZeHdpJ_omtP9M: & TBNH = 53 & tbnw = 130 & prev = / images% 3Fq% 3DStativ 2BFotomate% 26um% 3D1% 26hl% 3Den% 26client%% 3Dfirefox-a% 26sa% 3DN% 26rls% 3Dorg.mozilla: de: official%% 26tbs 3Disch: 1

I'm sitting Sennheiser Micro, which is directly on the shoe of the camera accessory. The Micro is decoupled from the rest with rubber-loving and above.
So not an issue and I think it is all a bit too seriously. I could find with this combination, no problem / noise.

Of course it is more sensible to build the micro to the right, but consider then that the sound of links no longer so well is because camera in between to give your perfect driving food.

Otherwise, I recommend a zoom H1 and because the Micro and grow with Tripod find any place else to go to.
Did then 2 audio sources and a more than decoupled. ;-)

@ Riki1979: Looks interesting, the Tripod. I did not know. I Just got your link in my stored in the Favorites folder.

Nevertheless, I would suggest you if possible to reserve it for the Micro Tripod (perhaps would fit on it since even synonymous, an external monitor), but your camera should be on an extra stand. Only you would have great sound (when the micro, for which you've decided, really good is synonymous).

You have to consider namely: Mikros receive Körperschallairborne sound .

Put simply, handling noise, vibration etc. s.der Camera and / or affect the body of the microphone sound.

Sound waves transmitted through the air the airborne sound.

In other words: If you have the micro of divide, the camera mechanically (which is synonymous, it is not with the of thee Linked Tripod comes), so there is only with the cable with the camera connected, it is no longer the body sound to wear. Exactly the right not synonymous, for both are yes, if synonymous with a flexible cable connected.

But if the micro Although mechanically separated, but still too close s.der Kamers is, then indeed is not a sound body, but still receive the airborne sound.

I would do it the other way round: the Camera on Tripod THIS (that I've purchased separately) and the micro to another (which is not quite stable and therefore is not really suitable for shooting)!
