Remote control: Button 5 = film (Timeline / Track) 5> does not work
Frage von zuma: August 2007
I produce quite a few years since special DVDs that are only on certain DVD players play. Now, the manufacturer of this DVD player but the successor model was introduced and suddenly my system will not work anymore.
I'm talking right now synonymous with the manufacturer, whether the one idea, but I guess I have to solve in the authoring.
My good old system:
- a DVD with some max. 100 short clips / movies - As a menu only max. 36 may include clips, I have 3 menus - The buttons are 1-3 on the remote control are each in the corresponding menu 1, 2 or 3 - Jed's menu in the Buttons 4 - 36 with the clip shows - To the clips to find there is a printed list, for each menu, there is the film with his number listed - Important is that I never navigate onscreen, but only on the remote control, press the Clipnummer - All the menus or buttons are all behind a Still Image hidden, because my audience will never see a menu [/ list: u: 20025f5eeb] With the old DVD player - and all DVD players, which I did - this system works without problems.
In the new DVD player not - there is so:
- when I enter a digit, opens in the picture above Onscreen Display / Menu - Where should I enter the number and then press Enter [/ list: u: 20025f5eeb] The problem is that I am at the new DVD player is always on the menu is onscreen.
That is for me a Katatstrophe, because time is four instead of a button to press, I have not though I think the movie viewers foreplay.
For your ideas, I am very grateful!

First was your old DVD player unusual because the numbers on the remote control always control the tracks, secondly, it is not very comfortable to me to make an invisible button 02 to press to button 2 for menu 2 to come to you then - after pressing of "Enter" - with 09 Clip 39 - again after pressing of "Enter" choosing (33 clips in menu 1, would remain for "39" the 6 button, but the first three are occupied. Why three? It takes just two: Menu 1, Menu 3). To number 39 to play, so you must click 6x, when encryption is refined even Dan Brown pale!
It is better to start than a menu of action indicate that only a single button is invisible. Function: All 99 clips play in sequence. To clip 39 to start you hit "Enter" and now "39." After the clip, you hit "Menu". Three clicks to get to each clip, and the index cheat sheet you will probably need no more.

Thank you for your help and that you do with my problem so far have largely addressed.

As I have probably missed. I control with the numeric Timelines (not chapter). Your tracks are the same as my timelines? I use Adobe Encore.
02 an invisible button to press to button 2 for menu 2 to come
You mean well, synonymous what I mean. Just to be safe: I click button 2 on the remote control, the button 2 in the menu invisible triggers. Thus do I switch to the 2nd menu
Why three? You need only two: Menu 1, Menu 3).
Actually 2 buttons would be sufficient. It is much clearer, if you use the same button to enter a menu to come. With me is always the button blank, in which menu you are.

Very exciting, if that really is so easy, I would immediately take over. But:
After the clip, you hit "Menu".
What is the Endaction for the current clip? Always "Menu" button would be very unpleasant.
Index cheat sheet you will probably need no longer
How do you that? But I must still know the number which has the clip?
