Infoseite // Roughly cut output in file, what format should I choose?

Frage von rombrz:

Hi,
I just digialisiere my old Video8 Cassette with the help of ADVC300 and Edius 5th The input format I selected DV 750x576 50i.

Now to my problem:

The Scennenerknnung funktioniet not with me, but is on the program. Edius stops not synonymous with auto End.

I want to digitize all Casetes first, then I'll edit it.

I will now only roughly cut (various events on the tape are a single store, cut off the end without film content, etc).

What output file for an output format in "in" should I choose for it? Will save lossless, without converting.

If I choose Canopus Online Standart, shows me AVI codec that my CUVC video codec, right after the recording is CDVc.

What does that mean? it is converted?

Antwort von Debonnaire:

Your Video8 tapes are analog data and can therefore neither saved nor do you make time code detection scene. Just reinziehen all times and store it as uncompressed DV-AVI (PAL, 720x576 pixels, 4:3), then you can later everything in the best (captured for) quality process next.

I am aware of Edius 5, but if that part is not placed completely dopey, then you need not spend after capturing ". THE capture resulting DV AVI files s.of you selected location.
