Are you speaking of VHS cassettes or mini DV?

Answering your questions, some copied from the manual:
Tape Format: VHS videos
Color System: PAL, NTSC 4.43, NTSC playback with PAL TV
TV system: B / G, D / K
Port directly tested s.TV by SCART cable; different color videos, all over the entire length runs only in S / W.
I hope my answers are sufficient, as I am in this area a complete zero.
