S-Video Problem

S-video problem

Frage von jockl:
August 2007

I'm new and not sure whether the topic belongs here forth.

I have 2 Calculator. I would like on the one hand, a PC game running lassn. On the other calculator I mlchte the entire capture. (Software programs like Fraps suagen too much energy and the game starts bucking s.zu). Now I consider I suppose an S video solution. Is this possible?

How can I connect the computer. voted in the one hand, he nvidia 9500 series, on the other hand, ati radeon 8500 (in the cupboard, I have a all-in-Wonder 9500 - is the better?).

Now I wonder how I can do everything and I can do with Adobe Premiere?

Sorry, I know the technical details of the card does not therefore be a more theoretical approach.

Since you write that you do that via S-Video do want, you should be aware that the amount is Resolution720x576 - commercially available as PAL. The Game-PC-graphics card must have the corresponding output. Initially there an S-video Television tauglichenr connect to check if the game s.diesen output synonymous is still worth seeing ;-)

How now begin?

1) With a second PC. This must be a suitable PC Video - In have. I hope, to your card has, or else is final.

Does the graphics card, so you have to organize a software which is capable of this output images to capture. Maybe it was something in the graphics card is or Movie Maker can do (I do not know)

2) About an AD converter. This converter can be a stand-alone device (eg of Canopus video or data) or a DV recorder or camcorder with analog-in. These devices make the analog picture signal a Firewire. You can of course synonymous to DV Video recording and later to restore the PC (if only one PC is available) or the signal via Firewire to a second PC to restore.

Could go - but it is nonsense. Unnecessary expense with predicted poor outcome. Thos has already written to you with S-Video to 720 times 576 pixels are determined, your colors will you be at S-Video in Comparison to the original hardly recognize.
Long story short, try with various software solutions rum (synonymous here and use the search function) and the vertical Auflöung in your game to 800 times 600th That should be a current PC abkönnen. The result is still the way for Tevez as by S-Video.

This is getting worse. What have you there because of 'nen calculator for the game and go with whatever software you try, the whole abzufilmen? As I said: Just use the search function ...

Antwort von jockl:

It is about games that are graphically demanding, are synonymous and lots of computing power needed. I use Fraps to capture. But as I said when I turn on the frame rate goes down and it is jerky.

What is it, if I s.anderen Calculator input using the TV card, this alöso Yellow Line in? Is the Picture then crap?. And I've heard that the composite output is rather better quality. Maybe worth it since the purchase of a DC recorder? Or is there perhaps even as a recording device, which saves on ne FP? So a hard-disk recorder, perhaps?

See above.

You mean YUV components ...

What is this?
Dear Jockl: What do you get out s.Ende? If you are behind something in the normal, ie PAL-quality, want, you can give it meinethalben on the S-video output sample. If you take the full quality of your game like, eh comes only one Capture program in question. Apparently you're not in a position, here or with other search engines for alternative, less braking Capture programs to search for ... Those who I know are mostly synonymous allow the choice of different codecs - if you choose uncompressed AVI, need u in D 'ne big and fast hard drive - the calculator is likely to slow down then, but less ...
