Hi Everyone,
I have been with my now almost 10 years old SonyDVR-TRV725E DV movies recorded on Hi8 tape.
As the camera gets more and more problems with the tapes and I therefore can not rely on this all works perfectly, I have decided to switch to a current camera.
Now I have one in the topic a little about HD and decided for me that I need HD is not really as I say with the, let's DVD quality, in my old camera really am super happy. Add to that the high hardware requirements of the coming AVCHD editing.
So I bought a current-SonyDCR SX34ES.
From the quality of this camera, I am certainly very disappointed. The Resolutionist in Comparison to my old camera and much worse in the interior photographs are very fast ugly colorways of the skin tones and soft hail it very quickly.
My question now is, there is a current SD Camera qualitatively s.eine herankommt good DV camera is the poor quality or simply the price of the tiny sizes (they look just like toys) and the tiny CCD chip and the reduced rate of mpeg2 Recording?
Or do I take it to an HD camera, and does so as a beginner model?
Actually, I did not want to spend more than 300 ¬ -400 ¬.

low-class in, is probably little to fetch it, synonymous needed, the only thing I can think of to put more on it a 100 and buy yourself a canon hv-20, or 30, used that can hdv and sd, run with cassettes and have a fairly good image quality. hdv can be cut synonymous with moderate hardware insert.

If there is to be SD, but then gets in this price class, the SonySX73 (much larger sensor and still more than enough zoom) good reviews. However, I would think with a new acquisition for the next few years very much synonymous with a HD Camera.

The SonySX73 is one of the best SD cameras, one can hardly find one that is better still.
I would buy one of Sony, otherwise nothing else.

sx73 of the current would be actually the best pure SD model. However, with very slimmed equipment (no FB, only electric. Stabilizer, no viewfinder, no Nighshot).
If you put on such features value would event. discontinued models such as SonyDVD506, DVD510, DVD410, SR75, Panasonic H250/280, S150 interesting uA, which some still restposten as new, used or otherwise bought.
