Hi All,
you would ask me briefly your professional expertise to be part. I need a hardware Einkauftip.
Situation:
SVHS signal is to be grabbed by the PC, in PAL Resolutionauf PC monitor will be displayed as a window and full screen. The whole real-time without any frame drops. Audiocaptureing not necessary. Encoding not needed since material will not be saved. Live processing of the signal (change the brightness, color, etc.) is not absolutely necessary but would be nice. TV tuner not required. So it is only for the pure representation of the SVHS signal on the PC monitor!
My hardware: 1 GB of RAM, Athlon xp3000, 9800 Pro, USB 2.0, FW and PCI slots free, widescreen TFT 16:10 - 1440 * 900 pixels
Important when the whole is that the SVHS signal is shown as well as possible. Even more important is the emphasis on real-time! The encoding processor hardware must not possess, if this is not necessary to achieve my target. How it looks with the deinterlacing? Does that make the software, or there are on PCI cards, the hardware miterledigen (if so, what is better?)? Also important would be the display in the window, in native Resolutiondes input signal and an enlarged full screen display on my TFT 16:10.
I am looking for the corresponding PCI card. USB 2.0 Box synonymous would, if there is at doing this, what I seek. Softwaretip, if not provided, would be synonymous toll.
If anyone knows appropriate hardware / software, up to 150 EUR (cheaper liked desired), then I'm grateful for a tip.

Hello Marc,
If I understand you correctly, here is an analog S-VHS
Signal. For this you need a capture card with a corresponding S-VHS input. At Saturn and Media Markt, there is a great choice with different prices ( ¬ p.40). Thou shalt have no real problems. Deinterlacing needs you do not care about synonymous. Which card you take, you must decide for themselves.
Your S-VHS signal has a Resolutionvon 768 x 576 pixels, at a ratio of 4:3. Maybe you'll have at your LCD with a bit of Resolutionexperementieren, but will a "full screen" you do not get, or it is distorted.

Deinterlacing needs you do not care about synonymous. However, de-interlacing is an important issue. Otherwise, the video recordings look like on s.Computermonitor

Hi,
Yesterday, even in MM + Saturn the Dazzle card found (around 40 EUR). Unfortunately, it was apparent to me, captures what format the card, the SVHS signal. Do I have yet to convert to MPEG2 in software (I would not be wasting time with wg. Real problems connected) or synonymous to the board on Dazzle DV?
I have also drawn little Canopus ADVC50 considered. They are obviously directly to DV. Apparently, there is the intercept of the DV stream is a problem with the consideration in full screen. Most of the program are intended for DV editing, and set the stream only in a small preview window dar. "iu VCR" DV however, intended as a preview (which is precisely what I want) in full screen and can display in the window.
So would be a combination of the Canopus and "iu VCR" the solution for my task? Or could the Dazzle synonymous? Does any of you, "iu VCR?
As an alternative, I ask myself the AVerMedia AVerTV Box 9 before, which is directly s.den monitor can be connected and internal Deinterlaced and A / D converted with video processor. Output resolution can be set up to 1280x1024 (widescreen 1280x768 synonymous).
