Why not? Have you not at least times since the trouble, synonymous only the most basic technical data of the two devices to be? The DV1 is designed for a camera weight of up to two kilograms. The XH-A1 with battery already weighs around 2.2 kilograms, without any extra Microphone, Wide intent, etc. Had I A1, I would in any event not entrust DV1!

Much better suited (and probably even cheaper) would be my opinion as this tripod systems:
Cartoni Action Pro
Manfrotto 525 with 503 head
Vinten Pro6

For so small ne Fummel A1 you need a better tripod.
I would even recommend Cartoni Focus. You need to HDV and its really really small NEN Camera Tripod with his great great head. A DV1 not suffice.

So I did for my backup camera (FX1 or PD150) the
Cartoni Action Pro Head fetched.
But on Manfrotto legs.
Can I actually recommend and is synonymous reasonably priced. Combined with the Manfrotto rear camera to use - and can be wonderful to work with. The Cartoni head flick Anschwenken at far less than the Manfrotto heads.
So let me say flat-rate times: Steer clear of the Manfrotto heads!
Vinten Pro6 the head, I had not yet tested.
