I have looked at yesterday EBAY og card purchased - price: 10 Euro including shipping.
After formatting my Canon I had to find that only 480 MB were available - is this normal? 've Worried that I ne cheaper copy with the sticker SANDISK bought.
In my 512 Kingston 511 MB will be displayed.

For storage medium will always have the raw capacity specified.
When you go to format memory lost. How much depends on the file and the size of the media from.
If you watch a 80GB HDD to buy, you can use synonymous only 75GB (which was acquired ... * g *)

This is normal. Is just as hard, as always in smooth 1.000er steps are expected and the 24 rest then fall down. This makes it less and less space than indicated.
For SD cards that I recommend Reichelt.de: EUR 35 for 2 GB currently.
