because signal does not come s.dvd s.sondern, leaving nothing but hang on sat ..... What do you want on a DVD with a TV program? EPG is helpful and useful to see what's coming, and the recorder (ie for these devices, the hard drive) for recording programming. After that's has done his duty.

no, no, originally I wanted to kill my current dvd player, vcr, and the sat receiver with a single device .... therefore the question .... in the last days I still have the phone with various providers .... there is no dvd / hdd with sat there, I got the question what is happening around the epg (cable + etc. eurosport)
