I had a scene filmed with three different cams. Each takes in other formats:
1920x1080 with 29 fps
1280x960 with 29 fps
1280x720 with 25fps
Now, the films play in a single video via Picture in Picture the scene synchronously.
First of all, the fundamental question: does it work?
